Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2017) is a national level entrance exam. It is commenced once in a year in the month of May. It is organized for granting admission in Integrated L.L.B and L.L.M courses offered by 18 National Law Universities of India. For the year 2017, examination is being organized by the Chankya National Law University, Patna. Last year (2016), it was managed by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. CLAT 2017 Registration/Application Form

  • CLAT 2017 registration are available via online process only.
  • The CLAT 2017 Application Form is available from the 1st January 2017.
  • Before filling the application form, candidates should be ready with the scanned documents of photograph, signature, SC/ST/SAP certificate (if applicable) and domicile certificate (if applicable).
  • The last date for submission of the filled application form is 31st March 2017.
  • There is no need to send the application form through offline process.

Application Fee:

Candidates those belong to the UR/OBC/SAP (Specially Abled Persons) category, have to submit Rs. 4,000/- as an application fee. SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 3,500/- only. The application fee can be deposited either through Online or e-Challan. Additional bank charges may apply for the above transactions. The application fee is non-refundable in any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

To appear in CLAT 2017, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses are different as given below:
For UG Programmes:
  • Candidate has to qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum 45% marks (in case of Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category).
  • Appearing candidates of Class 10+2 or equivalent examination in March/April 2017 are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam.
  • At the time of admission, the candidates would have to produce an evidence of their passing qualifying examination.
  • The upper age limit to appear in CLAT 2017 has been removed.
For PG Programmes:
  • Candidates must be passed the LL.B or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks (Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 50% marks (SC/ST category).
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear CLAT.
  • Candidates would have to produce the evidence of their qualifying examination at the time of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit for PG courses.

Exam Pattern

The CLAT 2017 Exam Pattern is different for UG and PG programmes.
UG Programmes:
  • Mode of Exam: The entrance exam is being held through online process.
  • It will be a computer based test (CBT).
  • Medium: The medium of examination will be of English language.
  • Marks: The question paper will be of 200 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response, 1 mark will be given to the candidate.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Duration: The time duration of this entrance exam will be two hours.
For PG Programmes:
  • Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be held through online process.
  • It will be a computer based test (CBT).
  • Medium: The medium of examination will be of English language.
  • Duration: The paper will be of 2 Hours duration.
  • Marks: The paper will comprise of 150 MCQs.
  • Marking Scheme: The candidate will be awarded for 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There will be a provision for 0.25 negative marking for every incorrect response.

For the exam preparation, candidates have to know about the complete CLAT 2017 Syllabus. The syllabus of the entrance exam will be prepared by the conducting university. NEET 2017: Correction, Exam Dates, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

NEET 2017 Eligibility Criteria – The candidates appearing for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 are suggested to check the Eligibility Criteria of NEET 2017 before filling the application form. As per the official notification by CBSE, the NEET 2017 will be the first attempt for the candidates applying for the session 2017-18. All the candidates who were not able to register themselves because of the restricted number of attempts can now fill the NEET Application Form 2017. The candidates should be 17 years old on or before December 31, 2017. The upper age limit is 25 years. All the candidates passed/pursuing the 10+2 examination can apply for NEET 2017.

NEET 2017 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level medical entrance test regulated by the CBSE Board. It is held for providing admissions in MBBS/BDS courses offered by all government and private medical colleges in India. It is a one tier exam, commences once in a year in month of May. All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only. Appearance in NEET 2017 will be counted as first (1st) attempt. NEET Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
  • Nationality: Candidates should be an Indian Nationals or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
  • Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card is mandatory for all candidates except belonging to Assam, J&K and Meghalaya state.
  • Age Limit:
    Minimum – The minimum age limit is 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission.
    Maximum – The maximum age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for reserved categories.
  • Attempts: Candidates may attempt the exam only 3 times untill cross the maximum age limit. NEET 2017 will be counted as 1 Attempt for all the candidates.
  • Qualification: Students must have passed/appearing 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other elective subject with English.
  • Percentage Criteria: Students must have secured minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates and 45% (for general PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC categories).

Eligibility Criteria for TERI University MBA Admission 2017
MBA in Infrastructure Program: Applicant without work experience should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA with English at 10+2 level.
Applicant with work experience should hold a graduate degree with a minimum of two year’s experience (in the field of govt./regulatory bodies/ industry/ research/ academic institutions/ donor/ consultant organizations).
MBA in Business Sustainability Program: Applicant should hold bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA with English at 10+2 level. Applicants appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree / awaiting Results can also apply.
Selection Procedure for TERI University MBA Admission 2017
Applicants will be shortlisted based on the basis of CAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT score (Applicants with more than 2 years of work experience may be exempted from this requirement).
Selection from shortlisted applicants will be on the basis of group discussions and interviews to be conducted by the University at New Delhi.
