To fill in the application form, candidates must have:

To fill in the application form, you must Log on to http://app.christuniversity.in/ or click on direct link given above.

·         Create a 16 digit unique login ID by entering email address, mobile number and date of birth.

·         To fill the application form follow the instructions on the page under ‘Apply courses’.

·         Application registration fee of Rs 1200/- may be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility.

·         A valid email ID and mobile number for further communication (A System generated SMS and e-mail confirmation with the application number and date of birth entered into the Online Application will be sent to the provided e-mail ID and Mobile No.

·         Candidates must have copies of statement of marks of Class 10 & 12, Undergraduate programme (Mandatory). Students in their final year/semester must submit marks card copies up to the previous year/semester.

·         Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution and Migration Certificate from last qualified Institution for candidates from outside of Karnataka (If Available).

·         Copy of Entrance Test Score Card (Sep / Dec MAT 2016 / GMAT 2016 / CAT 2016 / CMAT 2017 / ATMA 2017 / XAT 2017).

·         Copy of Passport and Visa Page (If available) if from Outside India.

·         Copy of work related documents (Joining letter / Experience Letter & Latest Salary Slip) (Full Time / Part Time / Family Business also considered) (MANDATORY) for Candidates selected for the Dual Degree PGDM (CU)+MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme.

·         Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.

·         Choose the payment option and fill-in the required details to process the “Application processing fee”. Only once the payment is made, the application will be submitted online.

·         After submitting, you will receive the application number and your date of birth with the option to print your application form.

·         Kindly print and sign the application form. Keep a copy of the application form for further reference and to produce at the time of selection process.

Candidates must send one copy of the printed application form duly signed by the parent / guardian / spouse and the candidate. in an A4 size Envelope only with:

Copies of statement of marks of Class 10 & 12, Undergraduate, programme.

Copy of Provisional Degree Certificate / Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate), if candidate has graduated on or before June 2016.

·         Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution and Migration Certificate from last qualified Institution for candidates from outside of Karnataka (If Available).

·         recent passport size (Photo size of 35mm x 45 mm) and 2 stamp size photographs wearing Formal Dress with White background – Standard Indian Passport Format. Write your name and application number behind the photographs.

·         Copy of Passport and Visa Page (mandatory) if from Outside India.

·         Entrance test score card (Sep / Dec MAT 2016 / GMAT 2016 / CAT 2016 / CMAT 2017 / ATMA 2017 / XAT 2017) (Mandatory).

Candidates should send the documents by Registered Post / Courier Service within 5 working days of submitting the application online to:

Candidates, who are unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, may log on to the “Application Status” link and enter the application number or the 16 digit Unique ID and the date of birth details to view and print the application form.

Office of Admissions will verify the application form only after receiving the printed application form along with ALL the supporting documents. Selection Process e-admit card will not be uploaded if the supporting documents do not reach the Office of Admissions within the stipulated date and time. The selection process E-Admit card will be generated 5 days prior to the scheduled selection process date.

Candidates must mark the [PROGRAMME APPLIED FOR] Admissions 2017 – [APPLICATION NO] on the top left hand corner of the A4 size envelope for faster processing of application form.

Note:

·         Applications with supporting documents specified must be submitted in A4 size envelope only.

·         The application and supporting documents should reach the Office of Admissions within 5 days of submitting the application online.

·         Those applications that are submitted online after 20 Jan 2017 must note that their documents will not be processed if received after 24 Jan 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September / December 2016 OR A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2016 OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission test (CMAT 2017) OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission test 2016 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2017 OR 70 percentile or above in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2017).

And

50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters / years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2016 are also eligible to apply.

Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process

Selection Process

Group Discussion (GD) Micro Presentation (MP) : Group Discussion for 35 minutes for each group and Micro Presentation for 90 sec/ student in a group.

Writing Skill Assessment (WSA)* : Candidates will be asked to write on topic for not more than one A4 size sheet and for not more than 10 minutes.

Verbal Assessment(VA)* and Personal interview (PI) : Verbal Assessment and Personal interview for each candidate will be done by an expert panel.

Academic Performance : Assessment of past performance in Class 10,  Class 12, and Degree.

*The Verbal Assessment (VA) will be conducted during the PI (Personal Interview) process.

Admission Process

Note: Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

The selected candidates must process admission at Office of Admissions, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus as per the stipulated date and time mentioned in offer of admission card.

Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory Original Documents: mentioned below; 

·         Class 10 and class 12 (Mandatory).

·         Marks cards of all years/semesters or consolidated marks card if candidate has completed  undergraduate programme on or before November 2016 (Mandatory). Candidates in final year/semester must submit marks card up to the previous year/semester.

·         Provisional degree certificate, if candidate has completed/graduated on or before November 2016 (Mandatory).

·         Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if candidate has graduated on or before June 2016 (Mandatory).

·         Transfer certificate and Migration certificate (for candidates from outside Karnataka) from the last qualified Institute / University (Mandatory).

·         Entrance test score card (Sep / Dec MAT 2016 / GMAT 2016 / CAT 2016 / CMAT 2017 / ATMA 2017 / XAT 2017) (Mandatory).

·         Work experience, work related documents such as joining letter/experience letter & Latest salary slip) (Full time / Part time / Family business also considered) (Mandatory) for candidates selected for the dual degree PGDM (CU) +MBA, (FHWS, Germany) programme.

One full set of Photostat copies of all the above mentioned documents. (Mandatory).

Two stamp size and two passport size photograph and a copy of valid ID proof (Mandatory)

Copy of valid address proof (Mandatory).

The last date to submit documents that are pending at the time of Admission is 20 Aug 2017. The selected candidates must remit the annual fee at the South Indian Bank, Christ University, main campus branch, on collecting the fee challan from the Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, within the stipulated date and time mentioned in the e-admission card or the offer of admission will stand cancelled.

The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID card as well as a South Indian Bank ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fees payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places. Candidates are advised to collect the South Indian Bank account opening form along with fees challan and process it at the Bank branch on the University premises.

Candidates who fall under International student category (ISC), selected, should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bangalore, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bangalore.

The date of commencement of the academic Year 2017 – 2018 will be intimated during the admission process.

·         The University does not collect any donation / capitation fees other than that stipulated as the annual fees.

·         All those admitted to the course will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost.

·         Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.

·         The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

Cancellation Process

Cancellation will be based on UGC regulation F.No 1-3/2016(CPPP-I) DU) UGC notification 11 Jul 2016.

The application for cancellation should be submitted by the candidate in-person (Mandatory) by presenting the (Mandatory) documents mentioned below

·         Original fee paid receipt,

·         Document submission receipt and

·         Any other documents that had been received from this institution.
