S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai was established in the year 1938 is a vital unit of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It was founded by Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi and 53 other eminent professionals.SPJIMR is ranked amongst the top 10 B-schools of the country. The PGDM programme is approved by AICTE. The institute is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of India in 2003 with “A” grade. The two-year PGDM, one-year PGPM and the Executive Management Programme have been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), London.

Admission procedure of S P Jain Institute of Management & Research
2 years Post Graduate programme (PGDM)Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 format) in any discipline
The applications are sorted into two groups corresponding to two phases of interviews.
- First Phase Shortlists / Early Interviews
Applicants will be called for early interview based on academic record, work experience and Achievements.
- Second Phase Shortlists
- The final selection of the candidates will depend upon profile, experience, score in the entrance examination along with the performance in the interview and group discussions.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 format) in any discipline and have experience of 5-7 years experience.
- The candidates must have valid CAT/XAT/GMAT Score.
- The candidates should apply online through college website.
- Based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT Score, past academic performance etc the applicants will be short listed.
- The shortlisted applicants will be called for Personal Interview (PI).
- The final selection of the candidates will depend upon profile, experience, score in the entrance examination along with the performance in the interviews.
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with good Academic credentials
- The candidate should have a good GMAT/GRE/CAT/XAT score
- A minimum of two years experience is required for admission into MBA. (Freshers can apply for Master’s Program)
Post Graduate Program in FMB (PGPFMB)
The Candidate must fill up the online application and pay the application fee online or through DD.
The following tests will be conducted on the day of the interview

- General aptitude test
- Family Managed Business - Owner Management program (OMP), Business Excellence Program (BEP), Women management program (WMP)
Post Graduate Executive Management Programme (PGEMP)
- Personal Interview. It attempts to assess whether the candidate is capable of owning up the learning process and putting in extra hard work through self-motivation
