APICET 2017

APICET commonly known as Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. AP ICET is monitored and administered by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). Candidates looking for admission in MBA or MCA regular courses in the universities and institutions situated in Andhra Pradesh can appear this test. This is a state level entrance examination for candidates belonging to AP state. APICET 2017 will be held on third week of May 2017. APICET 2017 Exam Dates

APICET Application Form 2017

APICET 2017 application form will be available through online mode only. Eligible candidates can fill the application form through the official portal of AP ICET 2017. Aspirants can apply by clicking on “Apply Online” menu. Application fee of Rs. 350/- will be accepted via A.P .online centres or through Payment gateway (Credit card/Debit card/Net banking). Application form will also be accepted with late fee if candidates fail to submit the same within the specified time.

Correction in Application Form

The exam conducting body provides the opportunity to the candidates to correct their mistakes in the filled-in application form. It is expected that the correction window will open in the third week of March, 2017 (tentatively). It is only the one time correction opportunity, no corrections will be allowed further.

APICET Eligibility Criteria

It is suggested to all the aspirants to ensure his/her eligibility before the examination. Eligibility conditions need to be satisfied by the candidates in order to be eligible for APICET 2017 are discussed below:

Nationality:

• Aspirant must be an Indian National and must satisfy the local/non-local status laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
• Candidates other than Indian Nationals have to satisfy all the requirements set by the concerned University.

Qualification Criteria:

• For MBA Course: Candidates seeking admission in this course must have passed the 3-year bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• For MCA Course: Aspirants who want to apply for this course must have completed bachelor degree with Mathematics or any other subject (Math studied at 10+2).
• It is mandatory for all the aspirants to score minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% in case of SC/ST).
• Bachelor degree collected through distance mode must have recognition from joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
• Candidates who are appearing their final year examinations are also eligible to apply for AP ICET 2017.
• To qualify AP ICET 2017, minimum 25% qualifying marks are required. No minimum qualifying marks are there for SC/ST candidates.

AP ICET Exam Pattern 2017

The question paper of AP ICET will be the objective type. It is the paper and pencil based examination having test duration of 2 and a half hours. The question paper consisting of three sections viz Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. The paper structure of APICET 2017 is discussed below in a tabular format:

Section A of Analytical Ability will consist 20 questions from Data Sufficiency and 55 questions from Problem Solving. Section B of Mathematical Ability will contain 35 questions from Arithmetical Ability, 30 questions from algebraical and Geometrical Ability and 10 questions from Statistical Ability. Section C will be the communication ability consist of Vocabulary (10 questions), Business (10 questions) and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar (15 questions), Reading Comprehension (15 questions).

Exam Centers

APICET 2017 will be held at the following 17 regional centers of Andhra Pradesh:

Ananthapur, Amalapuram, Bhimavaram, Chittor, Guntur, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kuppum, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajamahendravaram(RJY), Srikakulam, Thirupathi, Vijyawada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram.

APICET 2017 Hall ticket

AP ICET 2017 hall ticket will be issued only to the registered candidate in the last week of April,2017(tentatively). Hall ticket enables the candidate to appear the entrance examination. It contains details about examination date, time and venue. Hall ticket downloading will only be done through the official portal of AP ICET 2017.

APICET Result 2017

The exam conducting authority will declare the AP ICET 2017 result/rank in the last week of May, 2017. Result will be prepared as per the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination. Counseling round will be conducted further only for the qualified candidates.

APICET 2017 Answer Key

The official answer key of AP ICET 2017 will be released by the exam conducting authority in the last week of May. Preliminary answer key will be released before the announcement of result and enables the candidate to estimate their marks. Final answer key will be released on the day of result announcement on the official portal of AP ICET 2017.

AP ICET Counselling 2017

Candidates who have qualified the AP ICET 2017 examination are required to appear the counselling round. Seat allotment will be carried out only through the counselling process. The candidates who have failed to attend the counselling round will not be eligible for admission.
