TANCET 2017

Anna University, Chennai is main conducting authority that organizes Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2017). TANCET is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted for candidates those seeking for admission into MBA, MCA, and ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Degree Programmes. These courses are offered by the various colleges in the limits of Tamil Nadu State. TANCET 2017 Application Form

Candidates can fill the form only through online process only. The TANCET 2017 Application Form will be provided from the official website of the Anna University. The application form will be available from the first week of May 2017. Candidates can fill the form till third week of May 2017. There is no need to send application form through offline mode. Candidates take the printout of the confirmation page and keep them for future reference.

Application Fee

Candidates have to submit Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates) as an application fee for any one of the programme. If candidates want to apply more than one programme they have to pay Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates) for each additional programme through online mode only.

TANCET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to appear for TANCET 2017 are given below:

TANCET Exam Pattern 2017

The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours. For each correct answer 1 mark will be given to the candidates. For incorrect response, 1/3 mark will be deducted. The entrance exam of MBA & MCA will be conducted on the same date but in different time. The entrance exam of ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan will be held on separate dates.

TANCET 2017 Hall Ticket

Candidates can download their hall ticket from the Anna University Website. TANCET 2017 Hall Ticket will be available from the first week of June 2017. Candidate has to produce the hall ticket at the time of entrance exam and the admission process. If candidate lost the hall ticket after the entrance test, the duplicate hall ticket can be obtained after make a payment of Rs. 100 in the form of DD with the written request to:

TANCET 2017 Result

TANCET 2017 Result will be declared in the last week of June 2017. Candidates can check their results from the official portal of the conducting authority. Candidates can download their mark sheet to present it at the time of counselling procedure. The mark sheet will be provided 10 days after the resultannouncement.

TANCET 2017 Counselling

Candidates will get admission on the basis of the rank obtained by them in the entrance exam. The counselling schedule will be announced by the conducting body on the official site. The TANCET 2017 Counselling will be started from the July 2017. Candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of the rank list.
