Delhi University MBA in IB and HRD 2016 Admissions through CAT


University of Delhi MBA in IB & HRD Program - Batch XXII 2016-18
Applications are invited by Delhi School of Economics (DSE)-University of Delhi (DU), Delhi for admission to two years full timeMaster of Business Administration (MBA) program in International Business (IB) and Human Resource Development (HRD) offered at Department of Commerce for the session 2016-18
The Diploma Program was upgraded into a two years full time Masters Degree Program called Master of International Business in 1995, now known as MBA (IB)
The Program consists of four Academic Semesters

Important Dates

Online Admissions starts: 15th October 2015
Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 15th December 2015 (Tuesday)
Last Date for Submission of CAT Score: 01st February 2016 (Monday)
GD-PI & Counselling Schedule: Will be notified on website www.commercedu.com

Seats Available

Numbers of seats for MBA (IB) and MBA (HRD) is 73 (62 + 11) for each Program (General-31, OBC-17, SC-09, ST-05 = 62); over and above 62 seats, there are 11 seats (02 PWD, 03 CW, and 06 FS seats = 11)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as an equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system
Relaxation in eligibility for students of reserved category would be as per university rules
The Foreign Nationals seeking admission in the University shall have to get themselves registered with the Foreign Students Registry (FSR) in compliance with the schedule notified by the FSR

Reservations/Relaxations

There will be reservation for SC, ST, PWD, OBC, CW, and FS categories as per University of Delhi rules. Further, the students claiming reservations must upload copies of relevant documents/ certificates from the competent authority along with the application form

Selection Procedure

A three-layered selection procedure, i.e., the CAT Percentile, the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview is followed for admission to both the programs
Candidates are required to submit their CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs; thereafter, the candidates which are short-listed on the basis of their CAT percentile will be called for GD and interview

Prospectus and Application Form can also be downloaded from Website www.commercedu.com and http:// www.du.ac.in and submitted, by post or by hand, by paying the fees as mentioned below
Prospectus and Application form can be obtained by post from "The Section Officer, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007" by adding Rs.100/- to the fees mentioned below according to the respective category fee along with one self-addressed envelope (28cms x 22cms)
Details of the online mode of application will be notified at the Department’s website shortly
Candidates are required to apply online for MBA (IB) and MBA (HRD); the application fee for MBA (IB) and MBA (HRD) courses is Rs.2000/- for General/CW/OBC and Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PWD
