Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS) Jabalpur invites applications for admission to PGDM (HR, Marketing/Finance) and PGDM-RM (Rural Management) Programs for the academic year 2016-18

About XIDAS (XIMJ)

The Institute offers one year full time residential program i.e. PGDM (Human Resource, Marketing and Finance) and PGDM - RM (Rural Management) [Equivalent MBA]

Last Date of Receiving filled in Application Form: 10th March 2016
Display of Shortlisted Candidate for GD & PI: 15th March 2016
Date of Group Discussion & Personal Interview: 01st - 07th April 2016
Declaration of Result/Merit List: 10th April 2016
Date of Acceptance of Offer by the Student: 25th April 2016
Notification of Vacant seats in order of merit (if any): 27th April 2016
Acceptance of offer against vacant seats: 15th 2016
Completion of Admission Formalities: 16th June 2016
Commencement of Classes: 01st July 2016

Eligibility (PGDM & PGDM-RM)

The minimum requirement for admission to the PGDM course is a three-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities

Interested candidates should have obtained these Degrees with an aggregate of at least 50% in the case of candidates from the general category and 45% in the case of candidates from the categories of ST/SC and OBC

Qualifying Entrance Tests: XIDAS is an Associate Member of XAT, MAT and ATMA for the National Level Entrance Tests. Students with CAT, CMAT or MPMET score of the relevant year are also eligible for admission to XIDAS-XIMJ

Selection Procedure:

All admissions will be based on the Institute’s Admission System, which includes the following: Qualifying Degree Marks, National level Entrance Test Score, English Language Capability, Institute’s GD & PI, Special Merit Points to Socially Disadvantaged & Minority Candidates

Scholarships Details

For PGDM Students: A total of Rs 36 Lakhs is provided as Fr. Michael Van den Bogaert, S.J. scholarships for Students pursuing; a flat scholarship of Rs 60,000/- will be given as partial waiver towards academic fee to each of the 60 selected students pursuing PGDM

For PGDM-RM Students: A total of Rs 18 Lakhs is provided as Fr. Karel Van Besouw, SJ scholarships for students pursuing; a flat scholarship of Rs 30,000/- will be given as partial waiver towards academic fee to each of the 60 selected students pursuing PGDM-RM

Admission Fee & Final Admission:

As soon as the list of selected candidates is declared, each selected candidate has to deposit Rs 10,000 within 10 days as non-refundable admission fee, to confirm his/her provisional admission; the full fee for Trimester should be paid within three weeks after the provisional admission list is announced

How to Apply

The downloaded Application Form should be filled in completely and submitted to the Admissions Office of the Institute, along with the required processing fee of Rs.1000/- and other documents as indicated in the Application Form

The Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- should be drawn in favour of XIDAS, payable at Jabalpur

A Candidate can also fill the application form online though the link given at the website www.xidas.in in which processing fee can be paid online and the other documents should be sent to the Admissions Office by government speed post only
