Telangana State ICET 2015 Entrance Exam for MBA MCA Admissions

Admission to MBA and MCA Programme 2015

TSICET-2015 is first Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) for admission into MBA and MCA courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges. This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal onbehalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad
A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test 2015 (TSICET-2015) of the Telangana State (as per G.O. M.Ss No. 25, dated 19th Mar 2004) of Higher Education Departments) will be conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal for entry into the first year a) MBA and b) MCA courses offered for the academic year 2015-16 in the State of Telangana

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date
The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned
The candidates seeking admission:
For MBA: Candidates should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination
For MCA: Candidates should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level
The qualifying Degree obtained by distance mode program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC
The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2015
Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies
Qualifying marks in TSICET-2015 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i. appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time/evening/distance mode)
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned
Selection Process: Candidates selection is based on the performance in the TSICET

How to Apply for TISCET 2015 ?

Candidates can apply online only
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for TSICET-2015 may submit their applications through online mode only from 05th March 2015 to 09th April 2015 (without late fee)
Registration Fee: Rs.250/-
The Registration fee may be paid at TS Online/A.P. Online /MEE Seva /e-Seva centers inTelangana State and A.P. /throughPayment Gateway (Credit card / Debi card)
