Eligibility Criteria 

PGDM/PGDM-International Business (IB)/ Retail Mgmt (RM) /Financial Services (FS)/Communication (COMM)
Student pursuing or having completed a minimum of three year graduate program in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE, are eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management
Students appearing for their final exam in April-May 2016 can also apply. However, they should produce documentary evidence of having passed the graduation exam with minimum aggregate marks as specified above, on or before 31st July 2016, failing which the students will forfeit their admission
Students besides fulfilling the above qualification are required to appear for one of the national level Management Entrance Tests namely CAT/ CMAT/ XAT
PGDM - Executive
Candidates having completed a minimum of three-year graduate program in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE, are eligible for apply
Candidates should have completed 5 years of work experience (after graduation) as on 31st July 2016

Selection Procedure for SIMSR, Mumbai

Stage 1: Applicants must appear for any of the admission test: CAT 2015, CMAT Jan 2016, XAT 2016 & GMAT
Stage 2: Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of test score in the entrance/qualifying examination-CAT 2015, CMAT Jan 2016, XAT 2016 and GMAT
Stage 3: Group Discussion of case analysis by each of the shortlisted candidate plus personal in-dept interview; executive PGDM program may have Written Case Analysis
Stage 4: Declaration of the consolidated merit position for each of the candidate. Two Merit Lists - one for all PGDM programs (PGDM/IB/RM/FS/Comm) and other exclusively for PGDM (Executive)
Stage 5: Counselling at the Institute (SIMSR Campus, Mumbai). Admissions cutoff date will be announced along with the declaration of the merit list
The other parameters and their respective weightage are:
Qualifying Exam (CAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT): 30% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 15% for PGDM (Exe)
Personal Interview: 25% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 40% for PGDM (Exec)
GD or Written case of Analysis: 20% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 20% for PGDM (Exec)
Work Exp.: 08% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 08% for PGDM (Exec)
Academic Record: 10% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 10% for PGDM (Exec)
Outsanding Achievements: 07% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 07% for PGDM (Exec)
Total: 100% for PGDM Programs (IB/RM/FS/Comm) and 100% for PGDM (Exec)

A candidate can opt for any program with an online application form fee of Rs.2250/- for Indian citizens
The form fee for Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Children of Indian Gulf workers (CIGW) is Rs.3050/- under the supernumerary quota of 18 seats in the PGDM Program
Candidate opting for PGDM - Executive Program will have to fill an exclusive form meant for the program; the fee for Online application form would be Rs.2250/-
