Goa Institute of Management (GIM) Goa invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) andPost Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management - PGDM (HCM) Programs for the academic year 2016-18

Important Dates

Filling of online application forms: October 2015 to December 2015
Last date for online registration (With late fee): 31st December 2015 to 03rd January 2016 (till 07.00 PM)
a) XLRI - XAT 2016: 03rd January 2016
b) CAT - 2015: 29th November 2015
c) AICTE - CMAT 2016-17: January 2016
Face-to-Face ealuation process: February/March 2016
Announcement of final admission results: April 2016
Beginning of new academic session: June 2016

A two-year full time residential course in Healthcare Management - PGDM (HCM) and our flagship PGDM Program
Students seeking admissions for 2016-18 batch may apply to both PGDM & PGDM (HCM) or any one program
PGDM Specialization: Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Ethics, Systems Management and General Management and Economics
PGDM Healthcare Management Program in Specialization: Hospitals, Pharmaceutical & Prescription durgs, Medical Devices, Healthcare Financing, Public Health and Healthcare Information Technology
Intake
The intake capacity for full time PGDM course is 240 and that for PGDM-HCM course is 60

Eligibility

As per ACITE norm, minimum 50% aggregate marks, (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE
Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by June 16, 2016 may also apply. If an applicant does not complete all the requirements of his/her degree by June 16, 2016, or does not obtain 50% aggregate marks in his/her degree, the offer of admission made to him will stand cancelled

Selection Procedure

The process for application and selection for full time PGDM and PGDM-HCM courses is as follows:
For admission to the post graduate program in business management 2016-18, only those candidates who register for the XLRIAdmissions Test XAT 2016 of Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur or CAT-2015 of the Indian Institutes of Managements (IIMs) or CMAT-2016-17 of All India Council for Technical Education, may apply
Interview Centres: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Cochin, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi (All centres are subject to availability)
Shortlisting for face-to-face evaluation shall be on the basis of profiles (XAT, CAT or CMAT score, qualification, past academic performance and work experience) for PGDM-HCM

How to Apply?

Students seeking admissions for 2016-18 batch may apply to both PGDM and PGDM (HCM) or any one program. Candidates aspiring for admission to the programs may apply online or download application form from our website www.gim.ac.in

Instructions for Admission 2016-18

Candidates must fill in ALL the relevant particulars and pay registration fee for processing the application; registration fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance
a) Online Payment: Enter your CAT/XAT/CMAT id and fill in the online application form
Upto 30th Nov 2015: PGDM or PGDM (HCM) - Rs.1800/- or Rs.2000/-
After 30th Nov 2015: PGDM or PGDM (HCM) - Rs.2400/- or Rs.2600/-
b) Payment by Demand Draft: Obtain a DD in favour of "Goa Institute of Management", payable at Panaji (or Panjim)
Upto 30th Nov 2015: PGDM or PGDM (HCM) - Rs.1500/- or Rs.2050/-
After 30th Nov 2015: PGDM or PGDM (HCM) - Rs.2450/- or Rs.2650/-
Take a printout of the Payment Advice, write your name and GIM ID on the reverse of the DD and send it along with the DD by courier/registered post/speed post to "The Admissions Office, Goa Institute of Management Sanquelim Campus, Poriem, Sattari, Goa-403505"
